Famed for breath taking landscapes, rich culture and colourful history Ireland has an abundance of amazing locations and venues for students to explore. Horizon is enthusiastic about sharing this opportunity with students from all over the world! Horizon organises excursions which have the perfect mix of excitement and education which enable students to experience some of Ireland’s most popular visitor attractions. Some of the venues which feature on our excursion schedule are:

All excursions have an opportunity for students to complete their all important shopping for gifts and souvenirs for friends and family.

Students enjoy two excursions per week: a full day and a half-day

ACTIVITIES

Morning & Afternoon Activities
Multi-Activity........Horizon has a wide range of exciting morning and afternoon activities to suit all students. Activities include aeroball, archery, arts & crafts, badminton, baseball, basketball, canoeing, climbing, computing, Face painting, fencing, field sports, football, Frisbee, golf, gaelic, high ropes, hurling, jewellery making, juggling, kayaking, low ropes, music, nature, night line, orienteering, parachute games, problem solving, raft building, rounders, tennis, soccer, softball, swimming, surfing, table tennis, tag rugby, treasure hunt, team tactics, unihoc, volleyball, water games, zip wire and more!

Specialist Activities
Specialist Activity.......In Horizon you can enjoy the best of both worlds, where you indulge in Multi-Activity events each morning, and then diversify into a specialist holiday in the afternoon. For an extra supplement, you can decide to focus on a Specialist Camp such as Surf’s Up, Pony Camp, Star Factor, Adventure Xtreme, International Tennis Academy, Golf Pro or Rugby. The result is a varied and exciting programme that will keep participants busy and challenged from start to finish.

Evening Entertainment Programme
Our Evening Entertainment sees the full camp come together for exciting and memorable activities which cater for everyone. Each evening students could be enjoying a disco, talent show, BBQ, movie premiere night, casino, giant quiz, camp fire party or even a chill out night which can be very necessary after a hectic day!
